London, 12 October 2021 – The British Museum in Bloomsbury, London, has appointed Arcadis to its four-year framework for project and cost management services, alongside AECOM, G&T and Stace.
The Museum looks to renew and invest in its estate, including historic buildings at Bloomsbury, to ensure the facilities and collection displays are befitting of a world-leading 21st century museum. Arcadis’ place on the framework enables the company to support the museum in delivering these plans, with the potential to be engaged across a range of strategic and technical studies or reviews, light touch refurbishments and heavier refurbishments, restorations and renewals.
This framework placement builds on Arcadis’ work with the Science Museum Group at the National Railway Museum and the Natural History Museum.
Ian Aldous, UK Account Director Universities & Science at Arcadis said:
“We strive to work with great clients on great projects. This framework gives us the opportunity to achieve this with the British Museum, an institution that is woven into our capital. It also plays into the heart of our mission at Arcadis which is to improve quality of life.”
