Arcadis, the world’s leading company delivering data-driven sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, has been appointed across all three Technical Services sub-lots within Lot 1 of Yorkshire Water’s Technical Services and Assurance Framework, supporting delivery of the company’s AMP8 investment programme.
The multi-supplier framework, valued at up to £80 million, provides Yorkshire Water with a single commercial route to access specialist engineering, design, technical assurance and advisory services across its capital investment portfolio. Arcadis has secured appointments to Lot 1A Principal Designer, Lot 1B Design and Delivery, and Lot 1C Technical Support, demonstrating the breadth of its technical capability and integrated offer to the UK water sector.
The framework is scheduled to run from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2030, with the option to extend for up to two additional years.
Through its appointment, Arcadis will support Yorkshire Water’s engineering, asset management and commercial functions with a range of services including Principal Designer services, multidisciplinary engineering design, feasibility studies, optioneering, technical advisory services and specialist engineering support. This integrated capability will help Yorkshire Water progress projects from concept development through design and technical assurance, accelerating delivery, managing risk and improving programme resilience.
Yorkshire Water is delivering a significant AMP8 investment programme to improve water and wastewater services for customers across the region. Through the framework, Arcadis will help support improvements to network resilience, regulatory compliance, environmental performance, and the reliability of essential water infrastructure.
These investments are expected to contribute to better customer outcomes, greater environmental protection and a more resilient water network for future generations.
Arcadis was selected for its proven track record in the UK water sector, multidisciplinary technical expertise and ability to support major capital investment programmes through a single integrated team. Being appointed across all three Lot 1 Technical Services sub-lots reinforces Arcadis’ position as a trusted delivery partner for water companies as they respond to increasing regulatory, operational and environmental challenges.
James Gallagher, Business Director at Arcadis said: “Being appointed across all three Technical Services sub-lots within Lot 1 is a significant achievement for Arcadis and reflects the confidence Yorkshire Water has in the strength and breadth of our UK water sector expertise. We look forward to working closely with Yorkshire Water to support the delivery of its AMP8 investment programme, helping to improve resilience, sustainability and customer outcomes across the region.”
