Arcadis selected by USACE Galveston District

HOUSTON, TX – April 9, 2026 – Arcadis, a global leader in intelligence-driven sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, today announced that it has been awarded a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District. This contract will be instrumental in advancing the design and resilience of the landmark Coastal Texas program.

For the eight-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, Arcadis will serve as a key partner in delivering flood risk reduction and coastal resilience solutions to communities and industries along the Texas coast. Due to the region’s vulnerability to severe weather events and flooding, the Coastal Texas program aims to significantly mitigate these risks and strengthen critical infrastructure.

Arcadis’s extensive track record in flood risk management and delivery of complex heavy civil design and construction projects in the United States and globally contributed to securing this significant win. The company's proven methods and innovative approaches will help support the long-term resilience of the Texas coast, minimizing community impacts from flooding and reducing business disruptions for local industry.

John McCarthy, U.S. Country Director at Arcadis, said: "Being selected for the USACE Galveston MATOC is a testament to the hard work and expertise of our teams. We are proud to support USACE and the communities of the Texas Gulf Coast in building a more resilient future."

Arcadis was selected for two MATOC awards for this project: one as a large business and another as part of a small business team through its Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture with Linfield, Hunter & Junius, Inc. This dual recognition underscores Arcadis’s broad expertise and commitment to fostering small business participation and local economic impact.
