Slew of commendations, including places in Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index 2023, and in the Financial Times Diversity Leaders 2023 list, underline Arcadis’ global commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
4 March, 2024 – For the second year running, Arcadis has been named as one of the Top Companies in the World for Women, according to Forbes.
The results are based on a global survey of 70,000 women working at multinational institutions in 37 countries worldwide. The feedback is used to identify which companies stand out for gender equality when it comes to career advancement opportunities, gender pay equity, flexible working practices, and more. The final ranking also assesses female representation at the executive and board levels and how companies use their platforms and marketing messaging to actively fight against gender stereotypes and promote gender equity.
This latest accolade joins further recent awards, including Arcadis having been named for the first time in Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index 2023, and Glassdoor Top 20 Best Places to Work 2024. Together, these commendations are testament to the success of a strategy where diversity, belonging and human rights are core components of a wider global ethos. With five global strategic programs focused on building gender equity, and a current 56% gender balance at executive leadership level, Arcadis is well on track to achieve its diversity goals.
