Arcadis, a global leader in intelligence-driven sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, shares that Cara Vojdani, communications director for Arcadis’ mobility business, has been appointed to the WTS International (WTSI) Foundation Board of Directors for a two-year term through 2028.
As an active member of WTS since 2013, Vojdani has played a leading role in advancing the organization’s mission to support women in transportation. She was named WTS Atlanta Member of the Year in 2022 and has held several leadership roles, including co-chair of the Atlanta Mentor Protégé program.
Through her appointment, Vojdani will support the WTSI Foundation’s mission to advance women in transportation by fostering scholarship opportunities, promoting professional development, and investing in research that strengthens the industry’s future pipeline. In her new role, she plans to leverage her background in communications, public relations and government affairs to expand awareness of the Foundation’s work and increase participation and investment.
At Arcadis, Vojdani leads strategic communications and stakeholder engagement for major transportation initiatives, including Georgia Commute Options and the Georgia Department of Transportation Express Lanes program. Her work focuses on building effective, community-centered outreach strategies that connect people to infrastructure investments and improve mobility outcomes.
Vojdani said: “Throughout my career, I have greatly enjoyed guiding, mentoring and supporting individuals and teams to build collaborative engagement programs for our clients. I’m strongly committed to contributing to professional development and growth at Arcadis and within the transportation industry. WTS has had an incredible impact on my career.
