Arcadis reaches top five in three ENR’s 2026 Top 500 Design Firms rankings

Company achieves its highest ranking in three key industrial categories, while maintaining its top five position in pharmaceutical process 

NEW YORK – AUGUST 27, 2026 - Arcadis, a global design and consultancy organization for natural and built assets, achieved top five rankings in manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication and automotive in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2026 Top 500 Design Firms Sourcebook, while retaining its No. 4 ranking in pharmaceutical process. 

Engineering News-Record (ENR), a US-based publication for the architecture, engineering and construction industry, released its annual rankings of the largest U.S.-based design firms by domestic revenue across major industry sectors. 

In the report, Arcadis' Industrial Manufacturing and Technology business climbed to No. 4 overall, marking its highest ranking in the category to date.

Arcadis also earned strong rankings across several other sectors, highlighting the breadth of its expertise across industrial manufacturing, buildings, water and environmental services. Arcadis ranked #2 in chemical and soil remediation, #3 in mixed-use buildings, #4 in water treatment and desalination and hazardous waste and #6 in overall water supply and dams and reservoirs.
