Arcadis to contribute to the ecological future of South Holland

Arcadis (EURONEXT: ARCAD), a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions has been selected, along with three other parties, for the framework agreement for ecological engineering services by the Province of South Holland.

This contract, which has a maximum value of €15 million and a duration of six years, will see Arcadis actively contribute to creating new nature, strengthening existing areas and shaping integrated ecological solutions for the future.

During this period, Arcadis will carry out assignments in ecological design, planning, permit management, implementation support, and multidisciplinary project management.

This work is linked to societal challenges such as nitrogen reduction, nature development, climate adaptation, and biodiversity. Arcadis brings not only technical expertise but also experience in connecting stakeholders and delivering supported solutions.

The Province of South Holland works in a task-oriented manner and was specifically looking for partners who can respond flexibly to changing circumstances, such as new legislation, political choices, and societal developments.

Alan Brookes, CEO, Arcadis, said: "In appointing Arcadis, the province has selected a partner that demonstrates a collaborative approach in helping them achieve their sustainability ambitions. Together, we will take steps toward a future-proof South Holland, where ecology is not just a prerequisite but a driving force behind spatial quality, livability, and sustainability."
